Finished size:
Approx. 18” (46cm) wide and 12” (30cm) long.
Yarn:
One skein (50g) of worsted weight yarn. Any worsted, aran, afgan,
even bulky and chunky yarn is appropriate for this project.
Needles:
Needles: US 6 (4mm),
hand sewing needle.
Ribbon: Satin ribbon 1-2” (2,5/ 5cm) wide, approx. 53” (135cm)
long.
Gauge: (not so important here)
16 sts and 28 rows in double seed stitch= 4” (10cm).
Difficulty:
Easy.

Work 88 rows in Double Seed St .
Cast off. Leave a long
tail for sewing.
Fold
the piece lengthwise and hand- sew about 8” (20cm) seam, leaving the last
5”(12cm) unworked.
Cut and burn both ends of
the ribbon with lighter to don’t fray.
Weave the ribbon trough the piece- approx. 5” (12cm)
widthwise from the top of the cowl (uworked side).
